Re-envisioning the Salad: A Metaphor for Heterogeneity in Israeli Society
This multi-media visual arts project builds on my short film, Salad Stories. It explores the heterogeneity of Israeli society through the art of salad making in order to engage viewers and members of society by helping them question their assumptions. How can viewers better understand the complex make up of Israel through the metaphor of the salad? The resulting installation, to include video, performance, monoprints, and other mediums, will provide viewers with an immersive sensory experience.
